Repair Tabs
All the information for a repair in one place
When you open a repair's detail, you'll find several tabs that organize the whole process, plus a Documents section that's always visible, no matter which one you have open.
1 · Diagnosis and Work
- Technical diagnosis: free text with no character limit; the "Save" button only activates if you've changed something.
- Diagnosis and repair photos: uploaded right here, up to 10 per stage. Uploading the first diagnosis photo automatically advances the status to "In Diagnosis."
- Internal notes: private, no character limit, with an audit trail for every edit or deletion. Everything locks once it reaches "Delivered."

2 · Photos
- Read-only gallery grouped by stage: Check-in, Diagnosis, Repair, and Delivery.
- Check-in photos are captured when the device is registered; Diagnosis and Repair photos, from the previous tab.
- You can delete photos from here, with confirmation, while the repair is in an active status.

3 · Quote
- Here you see the summary and record the customer's in-person approval. Creating or editing services and parts is done in "Edit full quote," a separate page.
- When sent by email, the customer gets a public link (no login needed) to approve or decline, valid for 7 days.
- Approving it — by email or in person — automatically moves the repair to "In Repair."

Create quote4 · History
- Chronological record of every status change: who made it, the exact date and time, and an optional note.
- Already covered in detail in the Repair Statuses topic.
- Full traceability for audits or customer claims.
5 · Communications
- A real email thread with the customer, not a generic chat: no attachments or templates, just free text.
- The customer's replies sync automatically every 60 seconds, or manually with "Sync."
- Messages can't be deleted, for transparency — it's a design choice, not a technical limitation.

6 · WhatsApp
- Only appears if your installation has WhatsApp enabled and your organization has it connected; if not, it shows a notice with direct access to settings.
- Chat with WhatsApp-style delivery confirmations (sent, delivered, read) and its own emoji picker.
- The thread is linked to the customer's phone number, so it can show messages from another of their repairs if they share the same number.

Configure WhatsAppDocuments: always visible, not a tab
Below the tabs, no matter which one you have open, there's a fixed section with the Deposit Receipt, the QR Tracking Code, the Technical Report, and the Sign-off Form. Each document can be downloaded, resent over WhatsApp (if connected), or uploaded signed on paper. The QR Tracking Code prints as a small label to give the customer: it carries only the QR code, the order number, and a short line of text, without their name or the device, and you can choose the label format and the number of copies. The QR code always prints at least 15 mm on each side, the smallest size a phone can read reliably: if the label format you chose is too small, the app warns you and you need to choose another one or create a larger one in Settings → Labels.
Change a repair's customer
If a repair was registered under the wrong person, fix it from the repair itself with the Change customer button in the Customer card. Only users with full access to Repairs can see it.
Open the change
On the repair page, click “Change customer” below the current customer's details.
Pick the right customer
Search by name, tax ID or phone among your existing customers. If they don't exist yet, create them first in the customers section.
Confirm
Click “Change customer”: the page reloads straight away with the new customer.
The device goes with the repair
If the device has no other repairs, it also moves to the new customer, and its record keeps who the previous owner was. If it has more, a checkbox lets you decide whether it moves.
The signature is kept
The name, ID and signature of the person who signed the drop-off receipt at the counter don't change. The customer details shown on documents become the new customer's.
It's recorded
An internal note is added with the previous and the new customer (name and code) and who made the change.
When you can't
If the repair already has an invoice or a receipt, the change isn't available: the tax document already names the customer. Users with read-only or “own only” access don't see it either.
Change customer dialog
Change the repair's customer
The repair will move to the customer you choose. The signed drop-off receipt is kept as it is, and the change is recorded in the internal notes.
New customer
The device will also move to the new customer.
