Different devices, different faults
The device type you select determines which failure causes Sattotal offers you when logging a repair intake. A washing machine shows drain pump, drum bearings, or water inlet valve; a TV shows T-CON board or backlight; a game console shows controller stick drift or disc drive. That way you pick from a short, relevant list instead of digging through the entire catalog.
Brand and model
Manufacturer, exact model and serial number for unambiguous identification.
Physical description
Color, physical condition and any preexisting damage to protect the shop.
Accessories handed in
List of what the customer brings (charger, case, cables...) to guarantee the return.
Device history
See all previous repairs of that specific device, with a link to the full history.
Saved passwords
The device and BIOS passwords are stored in the device record, hidden by default (••••••••) with a button to reveal them when the technician needs them. They are only asked for on devices that have them: an appliance never shows these fields.
Stats and recurring faults
Total repairs and accumulated billing for that device. If the same failure cause repeats across several repairs, it's highlighted with a counter (e.g. "3x") to spot recurring faults.
Photos from all its repairs
The record gathers in one place the photos from every repair of that device, grouped by repair with its date and status.
Deleting is blocked with active repairs
Deleting a device (soft delete) requires typing its exact code to confirm, and isn't allowed while it has any active repair — those need to be resolved first.
