Repair shop software for electronics

Game consoles, drones, smartwatches and TVs: each device with its accessories and its own faults, an estimate before you open it up and a signed handover, all in one place.

An electronics repair shop sees devices that have little in common: a console that won’t read discs, a drone that drifts after a crash, a smartwatch with a dead heart rate sensor, a TV with lines across the panel. Each comes in with different accessories —the controller, the batteries, the propellers— and needs a diagnosis before anyone can say what the repair will cost.

With paper tickets, nobody is sure whether the drone came in with two batteries or three, the estimate gets approved in a phone call nobody wrote down and the TV waiting on a T-CON board sits in a corner while the customer calls to ask about it. Every one of those calls pulls your tech away from the bench.

Sattotal gives each device a record with its serial number, the accessories the customer left and check-in photos. Your tech picks the fault cause from a catalog built for consoles, drones, watches and TVs, the customer approves the estimate from their phone and follows the repair with a QR code, and if a part arrives faulty, you open a return to the supplier without losing track of it.

Four device types

Console, drone, smartwatch and TV, each with its own record, accessories and faults.

Accessories per device

Controller and HDMI cable for a console; remote controller, batteries and propellers for a drone. Your tech just ticks what’s left.

Faults of each device

Stick drift, disc drive, gimbal, IMU, T-CON board or backlight: the cause is picked from the catalog, not typed.

Estimate before you open it

Send it by email or WhatsApp and the customer approves it from the link, with a record of who approved it and when.

QR code tracking

The intake receipt carries a QR code that shows the customer where their device is at, without calling the shop.

Parts and RMA

Stock of disc drives, controllers, batteries and panels per warehouse, and returns to the supplier when a part arrives faulty.

Everything your electronics repair shop software does

Game consoles, drones, smartwatches and TVs: each device’s record and accessories, its own faults, an estimate before you open it up and a signed handover, all in one program.

Every device with its accessories and its condition on arrival

A console comes in with its controller and HDMI cable; a drone, with its remote controller, batteries and propellers. Sattotal suggests the accessories for each device type so your tech only ticks the ones the customer leaves, and they go on the intake receipt the customer signs.

Check-in photos, iPhone HEIC included, show the state of the casing or the screen before anyone touches it.

How to check in a repair

The history of every device, by its serial number

Each device’s record keeps all its repairs, both open and already picked up. When the customer comes back, the search bar finds them by name, phone number, serial number or repair number, and you see what was done last time.

If they’re back with the same problem, a green or red indicator tells you right away whether the previous repair is still under warranty.

  • Every repair for the device on its record
  • Search by customer, phone, serial number or repair number
  • Warranty status of the last repair at a glance
Each device’s record

The faults each device actually gets

The fault cause catalog already sorts out what goes wrong with each device: stick drift or the disc drive on a console, the gimbal or the IMU on a drone, the T-CON board on a TV or the heart rate sensor on a watch. Your tech picks the cause, and you see what you fix most.

An estimate before you open the device

In electronics, diagnosis is half the job. Send the estimate by email or WhatsApp and the customer approves or declines it from the link; the repair moves to its next status on its own, with a record of who approved it and when.

How estimates are sent and approved

TVs repaired in the customer’s home

A big-screen TV doesn’t always fit in the customer’s car. With service calls, each tech has their own daily schedule, the customer gets a reminder the day before and the trip is charged by distance or at a flat rate, with no math by hand.

At the customer’s place, the tech logs arrival and departure times, the materials used and the photos, and the customer signs the work order on the phone. If the TV has to go back to the shop, the service call turns into a repair without retyping anything.

  • Schedule for each tech
  • Reminder to the customer the day before
  • Signed work order
  • Trip charged by distance or flat rate

Let the customer know when their device is ready

When you mark the repair as repaired, Sattotal notifies the customer: by email if they have one, and if not, by WhatsApp from your shop’s number. No more calls asking if their console is done yet.

The message is yours to write: change it for the whole shop or just for one repair, and preview it before it goes out.

How to connect your shop’s WhatsApp

Multiple technicians, each with their own permissions

Add your front desk, technicians and office staff. Every repair has its assigned technician, so the board shows who’s working on each device.

Permissions are set per module: for each person you choose full access, read only or no access to repairs, customers, invoicing or parts inventory. And every change is logged with who made it.

Team roles and permissions

Customer ratings and Google reviews

Twenty-four hours after pickup, Sattotal asks the customer to rate the repair, by email or WhatsApp. If you turn it on, once they’ve rated it they’re offered a link to leave you a Google review, whatever the score.

The request text is yours too, and you can turn it off whenever you want.

  • Automatic request 24 hours after pickup
  • By email or WhatsApp, in your own words
  • Link to your Google reviews, if you turn it on

Customers track their repair with a QR code

The intake receipt carries a QR code that shows the customer where their device is at: waiting, in repair, waiting for parts or ready for pickup. Fewer calls to the shop and fewer interruptions at the bench.

Parts and returns to the supplier

Track your stock of disc drives, controllers, batteries or panels by warehouse, reserve the part for each repair and, if it arrives faulty, open a return to the supplier (RMA) with its history, so it never drops off your radar.

Plus everything any repair shop needs

Each category adapts the record, the faults and the documents to your trade; the rest of Sattotal is the same for every category.

Estimates your customer approves online

Send the estimate by email or WhatsApp and the customer approves or declines it from the link. The repair moves to its next status on its own, with a record of who approved it and when.

Signed intake and handover

The customer signs on screen when they drop off and when they pick up. The PDF keeps the exact terms they agreed to, with your logo and the legal wording for your country.

Photos at drop-off and pickup

Take photos on your phone when the item comes in and when it goes out, iPhone HEIC included. If a customer claims a dent was your fault, you have proof of how it arrived.

QR code repair tracking

The intake receipt carries a QR code the customer scans to check their repair status any time of day, without calling the shop.

WhatsApp and email updates

The customer gets a message when the estimate is ready, when the repair is done and when it’s waiting for pickup, without anyone having to pick up the phone.

Parts, warehouses and suppliers

Stock per warehouse, parts reserved for each repair, returns to suppliers (RMA) and AI that reads your supplier invoices.

Warranties under control

Every repair you hand back carries its warranty end date. If the item comes back, a green or red light tells you right away whether it’s still covered.

POS and invoicing

Take payment for the repair, sell accessories from the POS and issue invoices that meet your country’s rules, in the countries where it’s available.

Team, roles and permissions

Front desk, technicians and admin, each with their own permissions. You know who changed what, and every technician sees their own jobs on the board.

Frequently asked questions

Which devices does the electronics category cover?

Game consoles, drones, smartwatches and TVs. Each type has its own accessories to tick at check-in and its own fault causes, from controller stick drift to a T-CON board.

Can I send an estimate before opening the device?

Yes. Once you’ve diagnosed it, send the estimate by email or WhatsApp and the customer approves or declines it from the link. The repair moves to its next status on its own and it’s recorded who approved it and when.

Is it on record which accessories the customer left?

Yes. Sattotal suggests the accessories for each device type and your tech ticks the ones the customer leaves. They go on the intake receipt the customer signs, together with the check-in photos.

What if a replacement part arrives faulty?

You open a return to the supplier (RMA) with its reason and history, and follow it until the supplier replaces, repairs or refunds it.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan includes up to 30 repairs a month at no cost, and the paid plans add the POS, invoicing and the AI assistant.
