Catalogs
The master data that powers the application
Catalogs are reusable lists that speed up your day-to-day. The most important one is the failure causes catalog, which appears when you register an intake.
Failure causes
Catalog of causes by category (hardware, software, network, power, screen, other) to classify each repair.
Filtered by device
Each cause is associated with the device types where it applies, so you only see the relevant ones when registering an intake.
Reusable
By always using the same causes, the reports and statistics by failure type are reliable and comparable.
Full management, with filters
Under Settings → Failure causes you filter by type, category and status, and create or edit causes in a dialog. Deactivating doesn't delete the cause (it's kept on repairs that already used it).
Catalog causes are translated; yours aren't
Causes from the seed catalog carry a stable code and already come translated into every supported language. If you create your own cause, it's saved exactly as you type it — it doesn't get automatically translated into other languages.
