Languages and Countries
Sattotal adapts to your language and your country's tax rules
The app is ready to work in 26 languages and adapt to the tax rules of 60 countries: taxes, currency and legal texts adjust on their own, and you can also pick a different currency if you prefer to work in one other than your country’s
Multi-language
A flag selector in the dashboard header, with all 26 supported languages (Spanish, English, Brazilian and European Portuguese, French, German, Italian and more). The switch is instant and remembered on your next visit. And where the law requires customers to be informed in the national language — currently in Andorra (Catalan), Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia — the documents your customer receives (receipt, quote, sign-off, technical report, emails and WhatsApp messages) are generated in that language, even if you use the app in a different one. In Andorra, invoices and POS receipts too.
Taxes by country
Your organization's fiscal country determines the tax applied on quotes and documents (VAT, IGV, ITBIS…), out of 60 supported countries. If the country has regional exceptions — like the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla in Spain, or Madeira and the Azores in Portugal — Sattotal detects them automatically from the postal code.
Custom tax rate
From Settings → Taxes you can pick the fiscal country and, if it applies, the region with an exception, or turn on a manual rate with whatever name and percentage you need when the country's standard doesn't fit your case.
Your organisation's currency
Picking your country suggests its currency (EUR, MXN, GBP, USD…), but you can change it: Settings → Organisation has a Currency dropdown right next to the Country field, and the two are independent. It is the currency you will see on quotes, prices, listings, PDFs and emails, with the thousands and decimal separators that currency uses.
Legal texts, editable per country
Warranty, liability waiver, terms and privacy texts cite your country's real legislation (GDPR, Civil Code, local consumer laws…) and are edited under Settings → Documents, with a button to reset each one to its default. The warranty period in months is a separate setting (3 months by default) — it doesn't depend on the country.
Catalan, Galician, Basque or Valencian, if you choose it
If your shop is in Spain with an address in Catalonia (Barcelona, Girona, Lleida, Tarragona), Galicia (A Coruña, Lugo, Ourense, Pontevedra), the Basque Country (Araba/Álava, Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa), Navarre or the Valencian Community (Alicante/Alacant, Castellón/Castelló, Valencia/València), Settings → Documents shows «Customer document language»: choose Català, Galego, Euskara or Valencià and the intake receipt, quote, delivery sign-off, technical report, emails and WhatsApp notices come out in that language. Your dashboard keeps its language and invoices don't change. Nobody switches without choosing it.

Picking a country suggests its currency; you can then change it without touching the country.

Language for your customers
In Settings → Organization, next to the country and the currency, you choose the language your customers receive emails and WhatsApp messages in: the automatic ones (device repaired, review request, visit reminder) and the ones you send from the repair. Picking the country suggests its language; change it if your country has several. It does not depend on your screen language: each team member uses the app in their own. Where the law requires the language of customer documents (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Andorra), the law applies.

Language for your customers
Language of the emails and WhatsApp messages your customers receive. We suggest your country's, but you can choose another. Where the law requires a specific language on documents, that one applies.
Example: Switzerland suggests German, but a shop in Geneva picks French and its customers get emails and WhatsApp messages in French, even if the team uses the app in another language.

Language
Only shown to Spanish shops with an address in Catalonia, Galicia, the Basque Country, Navarre or the Valencian Community, each seeing its own language. Any warranty, terms and privacy texts you haven't changed switch to that language too, for both devices and vehicles; the ones you've rewritten print exactly as they are.

RESGUARD DE DIPÒSIT
In Andorra there is nothing to choose: Law 6/2024 on the official language requires quotes, receipts and invoices in Catalan, and Sattotal always produces them that way.
