Schedule the visit, follow the technician from the phone and close with a work report signed by technician and customer. Then invoice it in Sattotal or in your accounting software.
Sattotal was built for the device that comes in over the counter. But many repair businesses, especially appliance, HVAC and business IT services, do much of their work at the customer's home or office. Until now that went on a paper form and was typed up later. Starting today you have the Visits module: the visit is scheduled, tracked and closed in Sattotal, with a work report signed on the spot.
A visit from start to finish
What's included
Schedule per technician
Each visit has a customer, address, on-site contact, technician, date and time. Technicians land straight on today's visits, with buttons to call and open directions on the map, and you're warned if two visits overlap.
Work mode on the phone
"On my way", "I've arrived" and "I've finished": times are set by the server and a timer counts the time on site.
Materials, trip charge and labor
Parts and services from your catalog, taken from the visit's warehouse (the van, for example). The trip charge is added automatically when it applies and, when you finish, labor is suggested from the real time, rounded.
Before and after photos
Up to 10 photos of the condition on arrival and another 10 of the result. iPhone photos are converted automatically and up to 4 appear on the work report.
A work report signed by both
The technician signs, then the customer, on the phone's screen. If the customer wasn't there, they get a link to review the work report and sign it on their own phone.
Reminder the day before
The afternoon before, the customer gets a reminder with the time, address and technician, by email, WhatsApp or both.

What's signed doesn't change: once there's a signature, times, materials and photos can no longer be edited. The work report always matches what the customer signed.
Once the visit is closed, you invoice it in Sattotal with the work report lines or, if you invoice in another program, mark it as invoiced with your reference and export a CSV with one row per line. And if the device needs to go to the shop, "Take to the shop" opens device intake with the customer pre-selected and links the repair to the visit. Everything stays in the visit history and on the customer record.
