Repair software for electronics

Games consoles, drones, smartwatches and TVs: each device with its accessories and its own faults, a quote before you open it up and a signed handover, all in one place.

An electronics repair workshop takes in devices that have little in common: a console that won’t read discs, a drone that drifts after a crash, a smartwatch whose heart-rate sensor has given up, a TV with lines across the panel. Each arrives with different accessories —the controller, the batteries, the propellers— and needs diagnosing before anyone can say what the repair will cost.

With paper job sheets, nobody is quite sure whether the drone came in with two batteries or three, the quote is agreed in a phone call that nobody noted down, and the TV waiting on a T-CON board sits in a corner while the customer rings to chase it. Every one of those calls drags the technician away from the bench.

Sattotal gives each device a record with its serial number, the accessories the customer left and booking-in photos. The technician picks the fault cause from a catalogue designed for consoles, drones, watches and TVs, the customer approves the quote from their phone and follows the repair with a QR code, and if a part turns up faulty, you raise a return to the supplier without losing sight of it.

Four device types

Console, drone, smartwatch and TV, each with its own record, accessories and faults.

Accessories per device

Controller and HDMI cable for a console; remote controller, batteries and propellers for a drone. The technician just ticks what’s left.

Faults of each device

Stick drift, disc drive, gimbal, IMU, T-CON board or backlight: the cause is picked from the catalogue, not typed.

Quote before you open it

Send it by email or WhatsApp and the customer approves it from the link, with a record of who approved it and when.

Tracking by QR code

The intake receipt carries a QR code that shows the customer the status of their device, without ringing the workshop.

Parts and RMA

Stock of disc drives, controllers, batteries and panels by warehouse, and returns to the supplier when a part turns up faulty.

Everything your electronics repair shop software does

Games consoles, drones, smartwatches and TVs: each device’s record and accessories, its own faults, a quote before you open it up and a signed handover, all in one system.

Every device with its accessories and the state it came in

A console arrives with its controller and HDMI cable; a drone, with its remote controller, batteries and propellers. Sattotal suggests the accessories for each type of device so the technician only ticks the ones the customer leaves, and they go on the intake receipt the customer signs.

Booking-in photos, iPhone HEIC included, record the state of the casing or the screen before anything is touched.

  • Console, drone, smartwatch and TV
  • Accessories suggested by device type
  • Serial number and booking-in photos
How to book in a repair

The history of every device, by its serial number

Each device’s record keeps all its repairs, both open and already collected. When the customer comes back, the search finds them by name, phone number, serial number or job number, and you can see what was done last time.

If they’re back with the same fault, a green or red indicator shows you straight away whether the previous repair is still under warranty.

  • Every repair for the device on its record
  • Search by customer, phone, serial number or job number
  • Warranty on the last repair at a glance
Each device’s record

The faults that belong to each device

The fault cause catalogue already separates what goes wrong with each device: stick drift or the disc drive on a console, the gimbal or the IMU on a drone, the T-CON board on a TV or the heart-rate sensor on a watch. The technician picks the cause and you see what you repair most.

A quote before you open the device

In electronics, the diagnosis is half the work. Send the quote by email or WhatsApp and the customer accepts or turns it down from the link; the repair moves on to its next status by itself, with a record of who approved it and when.

How quotes are sent and approved

TVs repaired in the customer’s home

A large TV won’t always fit in the customer’s car. With call-outs, every technician has their own diary for the day, the customer gets a reminder the day before and travel is charged per kilometre or as a flat rate, without working it out by hand.

At the customer’s house the technician records the time in and out, the materials used and the photos, and the customer signs the job sheet on the phone. If the TV has to come back to the workshop, the call-out becomes a repair without typing anything twice.

  • A diary for each technician
  • Reminder to the customer the day before
  • Signed job sheet
  • Travel per km or flat rate
How call-outs work

Let the customer know when their device is ready

When you mark the job as repaired, Sattotal tells the customer: by email if they have one, and if not, by WhatsApp from your shop’s number. No more calls asking whether their console is done.

The wording is yours: change it for the whole shop or just for one job, and preview it before it’s sent.

How to connect your shop’s WhatsApp

Several technicians, each with their own permissions

Add the front counter, your technicians and the office. Every job has its assigned technician, so the board shows who’s got each device.

Permissions are set per module: for each person you give full access, read only or no access to repairs, customers, invoicing or parts stock. And there’s a record of who changed what.

Team roles and permissions

Customer ratings and Google reviews

Twenty-four hours after collection, Sattotal asks the customer to rate the repair, by email or WhatsApp. If you switch it on, once they’ve rated it they’re offered a link to leave you a Google review, whatever the score.

The wording of the request is yours too, and you can switch it off whenever you like.

  • Automatic request 24 hours after collection
  • By email or WhatsApp, in your own words
  • Link to your Google reviews, if you switch it on

Customers follow their repair with a QR code

The intake receipt carries a QR code that shows the customer the status of their device: waiting, in repair, waiting for parts or ready to collect. Fewer calls to the workshop and fewer interruptions at the bench.

Parts and returns to the supplier

Keep track of your stock of disc drives, controllers, batteries or panels by warehouse, set the part aside for each repair and, if it turns up faulty, raise a return to the supplier (RMA) with its history, without losing sight of it.

Plus everything any repair business needs

Each category adapts the record, the faults and the paperwork to your trade; the rest of Sattotal is the same for every category.

Quotes your customer approves online

Send the quote by email or WhatsApp and the customer accepts or turns it down from the link. The repair moves on to its next status by itself, with a record of who approved it and when.

Signed booking-in and handover

The customer signs on screen when they drop the item off and when they collect it. The PDF keeps the exact terms they agreed to, with your logo and the legal wording for your country.

Photos on the way in and out

Take photos on your phone when the item comes in and when it goes back, iPhone HEIC included. If a customer says a knock was your doing, you have proof of how it arrived.

Repair tracking by QR code

The intake receipt carries a QR code the customer scans to check how their repair is getting on at any hour, without ringing the shop.

WhatsApp and email updates

The customer gets a message when the quote is ready, when the repair is finished and when it’s waiting to be collected, without anyone having to ring them.

Parts, warehouses and suppliers

Stock by warehouse, parts set aside for each repair, returns to suppliers (RMA) and AI that reads your supplier invoices.

Warranties under control

Every repair you hand back carries its warranty end date. If the item comes back, a green or red light tells you straight away whether it’s still covered.

POS and invoicing

Take payment for the repair, sell accessories from the POS and issue invoices that meet your country’s rules, in the countries where it’s available.

Team, roles and permissions

Front counter, technicians and admin, each with their own permissions. You know who changed what, and every technician sees their own work on the board.

Frequently asked questions

Which devices does the electronics category cover?

Games consoles, drones, smartwatches and TVs. Each type has its own accessories to tick when it’s booked in and its own fault causes, from controller stick drift to a T-CON board.

Can I send a quote before opening the device?

Yes. Once you’ve diagnosed it, send the quote by email or WhatsApp and the customer accepts or turns it down from the link. The repair moves on to its next status by itself and it’s recorded who approved it and when.

Is there a record of which accessories the customer left?

Yes. Sattotal suggests the accessories for each type of device and the technician ticks the ones the customer leaves. They go on the intake receipt the customer signs, together with the booking-in photos.

What if a replacement part turns up faulty?

You raise a return to the supplier (RMA) with its reason and history, and follow it until the supplier replaces, repairs or refunds it.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan includes up to 30 repairs a month free of charge, and the paid plans add the POS, invoicing and the AI assistant.
