Repair shop software for electronics

Games consoles, drones, smartwatches and TVs: each device with its accessories and its own faults, a quote before it’s opened and a signed handover, all in the one place.

An electronics repair shop takes in devices that have very little in common: a console that won’t read discs, a drone that drifts after a crash, a smartwatch with a heart-rate sensor that’s stopped working, a TV with lines across the panel. Each one comes in with different accessories —the controller, the batteries, the propellers— and has to be diagnosed before anyone can say what the repair will cost.

On paper, nobody is sure whether the drone came in with two batteries or three, the quote is agreed in a phone call that nobody wrote down, and the TV waiting on a T-CON board sits in the corner while the customer rings looking for it. Every one of those calls takes the technician away from the bench.

Sattotal gives each device a record with its serial number, the accessories the customer left in and drop-off photos. The technician picks the fault cause from a catalogue made for consoles, drones, watches and TVs, the customer approves the quote from their phone and follows the repair with a QR code, and if a part arrives faulty, you open a return to the supplier without losing track of it.

Four device types

Console, drone, smartwatch and TV, each with its own record, accessories and faults.

Accessories per device

Controller and HDMI cable for a console; remote controller, batteries and propellers for a drone. The technician just ticks what’s left in.

Faults of each device

Stick drift, disc drive, gimbal, IMU, T-CON board or backlight: the cause is picked from the catalogue, not typed out.

Quote before it’s opened

Send it by email or WhatsApp and the customer approves it from the link, with a record of who approved it and when.

Tracking with a QR code

The intake receipt has a QR code that shows the customer where their device is at, without ringing the shop.

Parts and RMA

Stock of disc drives, controllers, batteries and panels per warehouse, and returns to the supplier when a part arrives faulty.

Everything your electronics repair shop software does

Games consoles, drones, smartwatches and TVs: each device’s record and accessories, its own faults, a quote before you open it and a signed handover, all in the one system.

Every device with its accessories and the state it came in

A console comes in with its controller and HDMI cable; a drone, with its remote controller, batteries and propellers. Sattotal suggests the accessories for each type of device so the technician only ticks what the customer leaves in, and it all goes on the intake receipt they sign.

Drop-off photos, iPhone HEIC included, show the state of the casing or the screen before anyone lays a hand on it.

  • Console, drone, smartwatch and TV
  • Accessories suggested by device type
  • Serial number and drop-off photos
How to log a new repair

The history of every device, by its serial number

Each device’s record keeps all its repairs, both open and already collected. When the customer comes back in, the search finds them by name, phone number, serial number or job number, and you can see what was done the last time.

If they’re back with the same fault, a green or red indicator shows you straight away whether the previous repair is still under warranty.

  • Every repair for the device on its record
  • Search by customer, phone, serial number or job number
  • Warranty on the last repair at a glance
Each device’s record

The faults that go with each device

The fault cause catalogue already splits out what goes wrong with each device: stick drift or the disc drive on a console, the gimbal or the IMU on a drone, the T-CON board on a TV or the heart-rate sensor on a watch. The technician picks the cause and you can see what you repair most.

A quote before the device is opened

With electronics, the diagnosis is half the job. Send the quote by email or WhatsApp and the customer accepts or declines it from the link; the repair moves on to the next status by itself, with a record of who approved it and when.

How quotes are sent and approved

TVs repaired in the customer’s home

A big TV won’t always fit in the customer’s car. With call-outs, each technician has their own diary for the day, the customer gets a reminder the day before and travel is charged per kilometre or at a fixed rate, without working it out by hand.

At the house, the technician records the time they arrived and left, the materials used and the photos, and the customer signs the job sheet on the phone. If the TV has to come back to the shop, the call-out turns into a repair without typing anything again.

  • A diary for each technician
  • Reminder to the customer the day before
  • Signed job sheet
  • Travel per km or fixed rate
How call-outs work

Let the customer know when their device is ready

When you mark the job as repaired, Sattotal lets the customer know: by email if they have one, and if not, by WhatsApp from your shop’s number. No more calls asking is the console done yet.

The wording is yours: change it for the whole shop or just for one job, and preview it before it’s sent.

How to connect your shop’s WhatsApp

Several technicians, each with their own permissions

Add the front counter, your technicians and the office. Every job has its assigned technician, so the board shows who’s on each device.

Permissions are set per module: for each person you give full access, read only or no access to repairs, customers, invoicing or parts stock. And there’s a record of who changed what.

Team roles and permissions

Customer ratings and Google reviews

Twenty-four hours after collection, Sattotal asks the customer to rate the repair, by email or WhatsApp. If you switch it on, once they’ve rated it they’re offered a link to leave you a Google review, whatever the score.

The wording of the request is yours too, and you can switch it off whenever you like.

  • Automatic request 24 hours after collection
  • By email or WhatsApp, in your own words
  • Link to your Google reviews, if you switch it on
How ratings work

Customers follow their repair with a QR code

The intake receipt has a QR code that shows the customer where their device is at: waiting, in repair, waiting for parts or ready to collect. Fewer calls to the shop and fewer interruptions at the bench.

Parts and returns to the supplier

Keep an eye on your stock of disc drives, controllers, batteries or panels per warehouse, keep the part aside for each repair and, if it arrives faulty, open a return to the supplier (RMA) with its history, so you never lose track of it.

And everything any repair business needs

Each category adapts the record, the faults and the paperwork to your trade; the rest of Sattotal is the same for every category.

Quotes the customer approves online

Send the quote by email or WhatsApp and the customer accepts or declines it from the link. The repair moves on to the next status by itself, with a record of who approved it and when.

Signed drop-off and handover

The customer signs on the screen when they leave the item in and when they collect it. The PDF keeps the exact terms they agreed to, with your logo and the legal wording for your country.

Photos going in and coming out

Take photos on your phone when the item comes in and when it goes back out, iPhone HEIC included. If a customer says a mark was your doing, you have proof of the state it arrived in.

Repair tracking with a QR code

The intake receipt has a QR code the customer scans to see where their repair is at, any time of the day, without ringing the shop.

WhatsApp and email updates

The customer gets a message when the quote is ready, when the repair is done and when it’s waiting to be collected, with nobody having to ring them.

Parts, warehouses and suppliers

Stock per warehouse, parts kept aside for each repair, returns to suppliers (RMA) and AI that reads your supplier invoices.

Warranties under control

Every repair you hand back has its warranty end date. If the item comes back in, a green or red light tells you straight away whether it’s still covered.

POS and invoicing

Take payment for the repair, sell accessories from the POS and issue invoices that meet your country’s rules, in the countries where it’s available.

Team, roles and permissions

Front counter, technicians and admin, each with their own permissions. You know who changed what, and every technician sees their own jobs on the board.

Frequently asked questions

What devices does the electronics category cover?

Games consoles, drones, smartwatches and TVs. Each type has its own accessories to tick at drop-off and its own fault causes, from controller stick drift to a T-CON board.

Can I send a quote before the device is opened?

Yes. Once you’ve diagnosed it, send the quote by email or WhatsApp and the customer accepts or declines it from the link. The repair moves on to the next status by itself and there’s a record of who approved it and when.

Is there a record of what accessories were left in?

Yes. Sattotal suggests the accessories for each type of device and the technician ticks the ones the customer leaves in. They go on the intake receipt the customer signs, along with the drop-off photos.

What happens if a replacement part arrives faulty?

You open a return to the supplier (RMA) with its reason and history, and follow it until the supplier replaces, repairs or refunds it.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan gives you up to 30 repairs a month at no cost, and the paid plans add the POS, invoicing and the AI assistant.
