An e-mobility workshop is nothing like a computer shop. What comes through the door has no serial number: it has a frame number, and often a licence plate too. The customer hands over the vehicle with its keys, its charger and sometimes a spare battery, and all of that has to go back. Sattotal records each vehicle by what actually identifies it, not by what identifies a laptop.
With no record for each vehicle you end up with two identical e-scooters against the same wall and the keys in a muddle. And if you have not taken down the condition it came in with — the scuffed mudguard, the worn pads, the mileage on the display — you have nothing to stand on at handover, because the vehicle has been sitting in your workshop for weeks.
Sattotal gives you a record per vehicle with frame number, licence plate where there is one, mileage, battery voltage and motor power. Photos at drop-off and handover as proof of condition, checks that belong to the vehicle (does it brake properly, is the range normal, are the tyres in good shape), a quote the customer approves by email and a signed handover form.

Frequently asked questions
My vehicles have a frame number, not a serial number. Does that work?
Yes. For e-scooters, e-bikes and mopeds the field is relabelled "Frame number" on the form and on the receipt the customer signs. It is stored, searched and exported exactly like a serial number.
Can I record the licence plate?
Yes, on the vehicles that carry one. Scooters always do and e-scooters do in the countries that require it; e-bikes are not registered in any market we serve, so the field does not appear there.
Can I note the mileage and the battery details?
Yes. Picking the vehicle type adds mileage, battery voltage, motor power and motor number to the form. Whatever you enter is also printed on the deposit receipt.
Is it on record that I warned the customer about the battery?
Yes. The receipt the customer signs lists the risks specific to an electric vehicle: handling a lithium battery, losing the manufacturer warranty once the electrical system is opened, and brakes and steering needing readjustment afterwards.
Can I track stock of batteries, tyres and brake pads?
Yes, with the parts inventory and supplier orders, so a vehicle never sits waiting on a part you thought you had.
