Maintenance software for industrial machinery

Compressors, generators, forklifts, machine tools, pumps and control panels, each with its running hours, its preventive maintenance contract and a work report signed at the customer's plant.

An industrial maintenance company doesn't work from behind a counter. Most of the work happens out at the customer's plant, the machine doesn't move, and what matters is not when it was bought but how many hours it has done. Sattotal records each machine by what you actually need to keep it running: its rating plate details, where it is in the plant and what its hour meter is showing.

Keep your services on a spreadsheet and the compressor that was due at 2,000 hours goes past it, the customer is on the phone once the line is already down, and nobody can remember what was changed the last time. And if the work report is signed on paper at the plant, it lands in the office days later, if it lands at all.

Sattotal holds a record for each machine with power, voltage, pressure and year of manufacture, where it is in the plant and the full history of its hour meter. Preventive maintenance contracts remind you by date or by running hours, whichever comes first; from the reminder you schedule the visit, the technician has the customer sign the work report on a phone and the contract brings itself up to date.

A record for every machine

Compressors, generators, forklifts, machine tools, welders, pumps, electric motors and control panels, with their rating plate details and serial number.

Running hours

Every hour meter reading is saved with its date and where it came from: workshop intake, a visit or a manual entry.

Location in the plant

The building, line or room each machine is in, so the technician walks straight to it in a plant they've never been in.

Preventive maintenance

Contracts per customer with an interval in months, in hours or whichever comes first, and a reminder as early as you want it.

Work report signed on site

A visit schedule, a mobile work mode and a work report signed by the technician and the customer, with travel included.

Parts and faults of the trade

Bearings, windings, drives, mechanical seals or the CNC: your own fault catalogue and spare parts stock per warehouse.

Everything you can do in your industrial machinery service company

Compressors, generators, forklifts, machine tools, welders, pumps, motors and control panels: every machine with its rating plate, its hour meter, its place in the customer’s plant and its maintenance plan.

Every machine with its rating plate details

A machine record is nothing like a phone record. Sattotal asks for what’s on the rating plate for each type: rated power in kW, or apparent power in kVA for a generator, maximum pressure for a compressor or a pump, current for a welder, load capacity for a forklift, voltage, fuel and year of manufacture.

If the plate is worn off or the machine has no serial number, you can still add it and identify it by where it is or by a reference of your own.

  • Nine types: compressor, generator, forklift, machine tool, welder, pump, electric motor, control panel and other machinery
  • Each type only asks for what makes sense for it
  • Full history of repairs and visits for every machine
The technical details for each machine type

Running hours with a full history

The hour meter is logged when the machine comes in, when each visit is finished or by hand from its record. Sattotal keeps every reading, so you see how much each machine is working and catch it in time when it’s due an oil change or a bearing check.

Where each machine is in the customer’s plant

An industrial customer has dozens of machines spread across bays and lines. Each record keeps its location —bay, line, compressor room— so the technician walks straight to the machine without asking around, and that location shows on the work report and in exports.

Preventive maintenance contracts, by date or by hours

Set up a maintenance contract for a customer’s machines with an interval in months, in running hours or whichever comes first. Sattotal lets you know in Alerts and in the notification bell when a service is coming up or overdue.

The visit is scheduled from the contract itself and, once it’s finished, the contract moves on to the next service by itself with the hours the technician logged.

  • Reminders as far in advance as you want
  • Status of every machine: up to date, due soon or overdue
  • Your own contract number (CM-2026-000123) and a regular technician
How preventive maintenance works

Plant visits with a signed work report

Most industrial repairs are done out at the customer’s plant. Each technician sees their diary for the day, logs the time they arrived and left, the materials used and photos from before and after, and the plant manager signs the work report on a phone or tablet.

Call-outs and plant visits

The faults that come with machinery

Twenty-one fault causes made for industry, on top of the general ones: bearings, windings, inverter drives, hydraulic and air leaks, pump seals, generator regulators, forklift masts and CNC control errors.

How an industrial service company works with Sattotal

  1. 1

    Add the machines

Each of the customer’s machines with its rating plate, its location and its hour meter.

  2. 2

    Maintenance contract

Interval in months, in hours or whichever comes first, with its reminders.

  3. 3

    Reminder or breakdown

A service coming due or a call from the customer: the visit is scheduled in no time.

  4. 4

    Plant visit

Arrival, work, materials, photos and the hour meter reading from the technician’s phone.

  5. 5

    Signed work report

The plant manager signs and the contract moves on to the next service by itself.

  6. 6

    Workshop if needed

If the machine has to come into the workshop, the visit turns into a repair without typing anything again.

And everything any repair business needs

Each category adapts the record, the faults and the paperwork to your trade; the rest of Sattotal is the same for every category.

Call-outs to the customer

A diary for each technician, a job sheet signed at the customer’s premises and travel charged per kilometre or at a fixed rate.

Preventive maintenance

Contracts with reminders by date or by running hours. When a service is due, you schedule the visit from the contract, and once it’s closed the contract moves on by itself.

Quotes the customer approves online

Send the quote by email or WhatsApp and the customer accepts or declines it from the link. The repair moves on to the next status by itself, with a record of who approved it and when.

Signed drop-off and handover

The customer signs on the screen when they leave the item in and when they collect it. The PDF keeps the exact terms they agreed to, with your logo and the legal wording for your country.

Photos going in and coming out

Take photos on your phone when the item comes in and when it goes back out, iPhone HEIC included. If a customer says a mark was your doing, you have proof of the state it arrived in.

Parts, warehouses and suppliers

Stock per warehouse, parts kept aside for each repair, returns to suppliers (RMA) and AI that reads your supplier invoices.

POS and invoicing

Take payment for the repair, sell accessories from the POS and issue invoices that meet your country’s rules, in the countries where it’s available.

Team, roles and permissions

Front counter, technicians and admin, each with their own permissions. You know who changed what, and every technician sees their own jobs on the board.

AI assistant and daily report

Ask the assistant about your repairs in plain English and get a summary every morning of what came in, what went out and what’s held up.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep track of the running hours on each machine?

Yes. The machine record holds the history of hour meter readings with their date and source: when the machine comes into the workshop, when a visit is finished, or typed in by hand. If a reading is lower than the one before, Sattotal warns you but saves it anyway, in case the meter was replaced.

How do the preventive maintenance contracts work?

You pick the customer's machines and how often each one is serviced: every so many months, every so many hours, or whichever comes first. Sattotal lets you know in the notification bell and in Alerts when a machine is due or coming up to it, you schedule the visit from the contract, and once the visit is finished the machine is marked as serviced with that day's date and hours. Contracts are included in the paid plans.

Will it suit me if nearly all my work is at the customer's plant?

Yes. Visits have a schedule per technician, a mobile work mode, before and after photos, materials and labour, and a work report signed by the technician and the customer on screen or through a link. Travel can be charged as a fixed fee or per kilometre.

What details can I keep about a machine?

As well as make, model and serial number, the rating plate details that matter for each type: power, apparent power for generators, voltage, current, maximum pressure, load capacity, fuel and year of manufacture. And where it is in the plant.

Is what I explain to the customer before the work on record?

Yes. The receipt the customer signs covers the risks that come with machinery: production downtime for as long as the work lasts, residual energy that means the machine has to be isolated and locked out, wear parts that may need changing once it is taken apart, and possible oil or fluid leaks.
