Parts and Warehouse
Inventory control and physical location
Sattotal includes a parts catalogue with cost and sale prices for use in quotes, and an automatic physical location that shows which area of the shop each device is in while it's being repaired.
Two warehouse types, each with a single purpose
“Device warehouses” (Management section) locate the devices currently being repaired, with their zones and shelves. “Warehouses” (Sales section) track real parts stock and feed the POS. A warehouse serves only one purpose — if a location needs both, you create two separate warehouses.
Items / Parts
Parts catalogue
Name, code, category, brand and cost/sale price for each part. It's a reference and pricing catalogue, not a per-unit stock counter.
Linking to quotes
Select parts from the catalogue when creating quotes; each line can also carry its own serial number.
Search and categories
Find any part by name or code, filter by category — free text with a badge colour assigned automatically and always the same for the same category — and sort the list by clicking the headers (code, name, category, supplier or prices). The list is paginated and also shows each part's supplier.
Usage history
For each part, check which repairs it was used in: customer, device, specific serial number and quantity, with a link to each one.
Real parts stock
Real quantity per warehouse
Each part has an available quantity per warehouse, not just a catalogue price: it's deducted when sold at the POS or used in a quote.
Manual adjustment
From each warehouse's stock view, the "Adjust" button records a manual entry, exit or adjustment with a quantity and a reason (required). Changing stock from the part's edit screen is also recorded as an adjustment movement, requiring a reason and restricted to admins — the quantity is never overwritten without a trace.
Transfer between warehouses
Move stock from one warehouse to another with two-step confirmation: requesting it removes the quantity from the source warehouse straight away and marks it "Pending"; it isn't added to the destination until someone confirms receipt from "Transfers between warehouses" — so nothing is ever marked as received before it has physically arrived. A pending transfer can also be cancelled, returning the full quantity to the source. Not available for serial-numbered parts.
Movement history
Every entry, exit or adjustment is logged with date, reason and user in “Stock movements”, filterable by warehouse and type.
Low stock alert
Set a minimum quantity per part and warehouse; below that threshold it shows as low stock in the list.
Location in the shop
Shop areas
Front desk, Workshop, Waiting warehouse, Repaired warehouse.
The area is automatic; the shelf is optional
This area (Front desk, Workshop...) updates itself automatically based on status, with no manual work. If you also set up warehouses with shelving units and shelves, you can assign each repair an exact physical slot — that part is manual (see the Warehouses and Locations topic).
Location history
Every location change is logged with a date in the repair's history (see Repair Status).
Items / Parts: ficha completa
Barcode (EAN/UPC)
Every part can have a unique, optional barcode. Scan it with a physical USB/Bluetooth reader -- it acts like a keyboard, no camera needed -- both when creating or editing the part and when searching for it in the till, where an exact match finds it instantly without typing the name.
Price with and without tax, calculated from each other
Besides the tax-exclusive sale price, you can type the final tax-inclusive price directly: the price without tax and the margin (%) recalculate themselves using your organisation's real tax rate. It also works the other way -- changing the cost or the margin updates the tax-inclusive price too. The parts list shows both prices.
Categories with visual suggestions
Below the Category field, the categories already in your catalogue are always shown as coloured chips -- one click selects them. Typing a new category needs no extra step: it's created automatically when you save the part.
Brand with visual suggestions
Just like the category, below the Brand field the brands already in your catalogue are shown as coloured chips -- one click selects them. Typing a new brand needs no extra step: it's created automatically when you save the part.
"Delete" actually means archive
No part or service is ever truly removed from the database, not even ones that have already been sold or used in a repair: "deleting" it marks it as archived and it stops appearing in lists and search, but its usage history stays intact.
Pending completion (POS quick-create)
Items created on the fly from the POS search are born with minimal details and flagged with the "Pending" badge. The "Only pending completion" chip on the list filters them, and their edit screen shows a notice: once you complete the details and save, the item is normalised and leaves the filter.
Reason required, admins only
Changing the "Current stock" field from the part's edit screen requires entering a reason — saved along with who made the change and when in the movement history — and only an organisation admin can do it; other roles see the field locked. The general "Adjust stock" dialog also requires a reason, without restricting who can use it.
Setting minimum and current stock without leaving the part's record
When editing an existing part (a newly created part has no stock yet), the stock controls for the selected warehouse appear right next to the “Supplier” selector. A brand-new part shows none of these fields until it's saved for the first time, since it has no stock in any warehouse yet.
Warehouse selector
Only shown if the organisation has more than one “parts” warehouse (Sales section) — with a single warehouse there's nothing to choose. Switching it instantly refreshes the current stock and minimum stock fields with that warehouse's values.
“Current stock”, editable with full traceability
Shows the quantity available in the selected warehouse; if the part isn't tracked by serial number, it can be corrected by typing the correct number directly. When you save the form, if the value has changed, a stock movement of type “adjustment” is logged automatically with the difference, so the movement history never misses a change.
Serialised parts: adjust by unit
If the part is tracked by serial number, this field can't be typed as a plain number — stock is calculated by counting the registered units. Instead, an “Adjust stock” button appears (admins only) that opens the same serial-number entry/exit dialog already used in Warehouses: an entry asks for one serial number per new unit, an exit lets you pick which specific units are being removed. A reason is still required.
“Minimum stock”, the alert threshold
A numeric field (0 by default, with an info icon next to it) that sets, for the selected warehouse, the quantity at which the part counts as low stock. It's saved per part-and-warehouse combination, so the same part can have a different minimum in each warehouse — or be left at 0 if you don't want alerts for that particular item.
Alert in the notification bell
The navigation bell shows “N parts with low stock” (crossed-out box icon) as soon as any part with a configured minimum reaches that quantity or drops below it, in any warehouse. Clicking it takes you straight to the parts list, already filtered.
“Low stock only” filter in the list
In /repuestos, next to the “Pending setup only” chip, the “Low stock only” chip shows just the parts whose stock is at or below the configured minimum in some warehouse — with no need to go via the notification bell.

Multi-item batch transfer
From "Parts Warehouses" (Register → Warehouses menu), if the organisation has more than one active parts warehouse, the "Transfers between warehouses" button appears: it lets you move several different items from one warehouse to another in a single operation, instead of transferring them one by one from each warehouse's stock page.
Selecting multiple items
You choose the origin and destination warehouse, then search for items by name or code within the origin; each one is added with its quantity to an editable list before accepting the whole transfer at once. Not available for parts with a serial number or without stock control.
Confirming with the quantity received
When confirming the transfer from "Confirm transfer", each item shows the quantity sent next to an editable field for the quantity actually received — it may not match if the origin warehouse didn't have enough physical stock, or if extra units were sent by mistake.
Discrepancies
If the received quantity doesn't match the quantity sent, you need to add a comment explaining the difference before you can confirm. The destination warehouse receives exactly what's marked as received (not what was sent, since that reflects physical reality), and that transfer is flagged "Discrepancy" instead of "Confirmed".
Resolving discrepancies
Transfers with a discrepancy appear in the "Discrepancies" list on the warehouses screen itself, along with the comment and the difference between what was sent and received. A checkbox lets you mark them as resolved once investigated — it doesn't move any more stock, it just clears the alert — and it can be unticked again if they need reopening.
