Connect your CRM to Sattotal: the public API is here

If you already keep your customers or suppliers in another program, stop typing them twice. With an API key, Sattotal and your CRM keep each other up to date on their own.

Until now, getting your data into Sattotal meant a CSV import: fine for moving in, useless day to day. Add a customer to your CRM on Tuesday and by Thursday you are typing it again here. The public API ends that: your CRM, your ERP or a tool like Make or n8n can read and create customers and suppliers in your organization, with nobody touching a file.

How to get started

1

Create the key in Settings → API

Administrators only. Give it a name that identifies the integration («Store CRM», «Make»), tick which resources it may touch and at what level, and you are done.

2

Choose what it can do, resource by resource

Customers and suppliers are granted separately, each one read-only or read and write. You can issue a key that reads suppliers and touches nothing else.

3

Copy it once and paste it into your tool

The full key is shown a single time and is then stored irreversibly. If it goes missing, revoke it and create another: the old one stops working instantly.

4

Sync only what changed

You do not need to fetch everything on every run. Store the date of the last run and request only what changed since then. A scenario running every fifteen minutes barely moves any data.

Permissions are per resource, and it already showed: when suppliers were added, the keys that existed — all of them for customers — did NOT gain access to them. It had to be granted by hand. The same will hold for any resource added later: an integration never sees more than what you gave it.

For suppliers it is the catalogue that syncs: name, tax id, contacts, payment method and terms, your customer number at that supplier. Purchases and supplier invoices are not in the API and stay wherever they already are, in your ERP or here. And two things are deliberately left out: the supplier’s IBAN and bank accounts. If a key ever leaked, it would be useless for bank-change fraud, the most common kind in this area.

The full technical reference is published in an open format and can be imported into Postman, Make or n8n to have every call ready. The help centre has the step-by-step guide, including a Make scenario built end to end. The API is included in the paid plans and during the trial.

New in October: the API tells you when a value isn't saved. If your tool sends a field under a name the API doesn't know — say "firstName" instead of "nombre", or "apellido" instead of "apellidos" — the customer is still created, but the response lists the ignored fields so you can fix the mapping right away instead of finding out weeks later that names were missing.
