Sattotal arrives in Andorra, with customer paperwork in Catalan
Andorra becomes country 59. The shop runs in Spanish and the customer receives every document in Catalan, invoices and till receipts included.
Andorra is now available as your organisation’s country. Plenty of repair centres in the Principality operate in Spanish, but the 2024 language law (Llei 6/2024, article 23.4) means quotes, receipts, invoices and other commercial documents must be issued in Catalan. Sattotal keeps the two apart: your team stays on the Spanish interface and the customer gets Catalan.
What choosing Andorra sets up
Catalan for everything the customer receives
Drop-off receipt, repair quote, collection sign-off, technical report, emails and WhatsApp messages. Invoicing and the till are switched on in Andorra, so invoices and till receipts come out in Catalan as well.
NRT and 4.5% IGI
A business’s NRT is checked when saved; private customers aren’t asked for one. The 4.5% general indirect tax is configured from the start.
Parishes from the postcode
Enter AD500 and the address completes with Andorra la Vella; AD700 gives Escaldes-Engordany.
The Catalan legal wording rests on Llei 13/2013, Andorra’s consumer protection act: the repairer answers for any non-conformity of the service, faults appearing within six months are presumed to be pre-existing, and putting them right is free and suspends the guarantee period.
Spanish shops in Catalonia can also opt into Catalan customer paperwork under Settings → Documents.
