Your customers can now register themselves with your shop's QR code
A poster or screen with your QR code: customers fill in their details on their mobile while they wait, and you just verify them at the counter. Less typing, fewer typos and shorter queues.
Registering a customer at the counter is always the same routine: spelling out their surname, repeating their phone number, rummaging in their wallet for their tax ID… and all the while the queue keeps growing. The idea came from a shop that uses Sattotal: what if customers filled in their own details on their mobile while they wait? Now they can.
How it works
Step by step
Turn on QR registration
In Customers → Pending customers, an administrator turns it on with one click and your shop's QR code is generated.
Print the poster or open it on a screen
A PDF in A4 for the wall or A5 for the counter, with your logo; or a screen for the TV or tablet in your shop, with no need to sign in on that device.
The customer registers from their mobile
They scan the QR code with nothing to install, fill in their name, phone, tax ID, email and address, accept your privacy policy and get a code like K7M-42P.
You find them and verify them
You scan their code (or search by name or phone), go over the details with them and click “Create customer and check in device”: you go straight to checking in their device.
What the customer sees when they finish
All done! You're registered
Your registration code: K7M-42P
Valid until Saturday at 18:30
Show it at the counter
Nothing goes into your customer list until you verify it. If the phone number, email or tax ID already belongs to one of your customers, we'll let you know so you can use their existing record instead of creating a new one.
Privacy by design: customers accept your privacy policy, and if they don't come into the shop, their details are deleted automatically after 48 hours. The QR code contains a unique code for your shop, and you can change it whenever you like.
The poster and the screen appear in your shop's language (or any other you choose), and the form in the language of each customer's mobile. It's included in every plan, even the free one. Repair tracking doesn't change: it's still the QR code on the intake sheet.
